Grid Connected: A Little Interest Check

Hey everybody. Zoki here with an odd idea, hoping she doesn't get in over her head again. But I think I can make this work if it's kept light and fun. We're all mature adults, right?

So the basic premise of this sandbox/psl/shenanigan-ing is that the world's in danger, again. And clearly the solution to any problem in this world is to throw brightly-colored heroes with giant mecha at it, regardless of their experience level in combat, weapon use, or piloting.

Basically, we're recruiting people of any age and species with any level of attitude. Some of these choices may or may not be the greatest, but we all have to learn to work together to survive.

Setting/Premise:
The story takes place in Angel Grove, California, in 2023. Veteran Power Ranger and tech mogul Billy Cranston is on a quest to revive his old friend and mentor Zordon, but there's one problem: his attempt to gather the grid's energy sucked in a group of wayward beings from other times and other worlds instead.

And then there's a second problem: his device created an opposite reaction on the side of evil, and energy on that side of the struggle is rising too. Lord Zedd has been reborn, and he's looking for recruits on his side of the coming war....

Applicable characters:
Any, as long as you think they're suitable for the setting! Canon PR characters from other times/universes or aged up to 2023, Sentai, any other canon, OCs, alternate universes...go wild.

Solid combat experience? The art of manipulation? Zedd's looking for all sorts.

Personality blurb: Elizabeth was the attendant of the hero of death in the Velvet Room. She was made to guide him through his ordeal to understand death and to keep despair from destroying all of humanity. When he died to create the great seal, she first tried a Great Old One's horrible magic of resetting the universe, several times, each time the end being ultimately the same, so she went off to find out why humanity spends so much time obsessing with its own oblivion. As such, she is overly cheery, easily bored, loves to fight, and will try to slap the sad out of people.

Uniform Color: Purple, gold, or Purple AND Gold!
Motif/Zord design: Horrifying demons, Death, the end of humanity

Other powers: She can summon Persona, though is currently only contracted with Thanatos. Thanatos however is a terrifying monster. Also, she understands how magic works and is channeled, and the games that gods and demons play, just because of her role in the universal game does not use magic other than that granted by Persona. That being said, if the rules about rangers not using persona, she understands rules are important in games, and this Ranger game may be an interesting way to understand despair. Also, you don't want in her mind, mind reading would be a bad move.

Non-powered skills: She can speak the lost languages of Lost Carcosa, the Necronomicon, or any other dark magic tome without going insane. She can identify anything in a food by scent. She can meld persona. She's a trained nurse, just not certified. She also hits like a tank and is trained in book fu.
